Abandoned by the mystel parents that bore her, Summer recalls nothing of those that gave her life. All her memories focus on the pixies of Il Mheg that raised her as one of their own. Little externally marks Iala Kenn (aka Summer) as the changeling she is, but her demeanor and world-view is very much colored by her upbringing.A cheerful presence, a bouncing well of enthusiasm, a source of wild stories, a bundle of romantic notions--nothing about Summer could rightly be called 'mundane.' And she'd be horrified if anything fell under such a term.Bright-eyed, bushy-tailed, excited by the very existence of life itself, Summer wants everything. Adventure, magic, wonder, romance, wealth and more are on her "to-do" list. ...after she finishes writing all her romance novels, that is.And her intentions to get around to a personal romance for herself "one of these days" finally paid off....at least, for her...
Deepwood Sniper--or "Kona" to his friends--didn't know what he was getting into by responding to the pink-haired mystel's cheerful greeting. Or why her eyes seemed to light up so very, very brightly just at hearing a bit of his story....or why he woke up in a field of flowers, breathing strangely sweet air with Summer beaming delightedly down at him.Convinced that she discovered her One True Love, Summer behaved like any pixie would by simply abducting her beloved and taking him to where she knew he would be (almost) absolutely safe. And her cheerful patience paid off (with the help of teas made from certain flowers in Il Mheg that have... particular properties) as Kona now enjoys her company and wouldn't part from her willingly.
